Working across all levels of government and with the private sector, OHA leads DHS in developing a scientifically rigorous, intelligence-based medical and biodefense architecture that ensures the public health and medical security of our nation.
Under the task order award, Best Value Technology, Inc. will provide an expert staff in the fields of Biological, Chemical, Veterinary, Food, and Agricultural defense to support OHA. Specific programs to be supported by this task order include the National Biosurveillance Integration Center (NBIC), BioWatch, BioShield, and Rapidly Deployable Chemical Defense System (RDCDS).
The four-year task order award was issued on a DHS-wide contract vehicle named Program Management, Administrative, Clerical, and Technical Services (PACTS), a multiple-award IDIQ program set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and their pre-approved teams of subcontract partners. PACTS is a streamlined acquisition vehicle available for ordering by all components within DHS. Best Value Technology, Inc. is a prime contractor under DHS PACTS Functional Category 1 for Program Management and Functional Category 4 for Technical services.
Best Value Technology, Inc. provides national preparedness and mission-critical solutions to DHS and its components. This task order represents growing recognition of BVTI’s capabilities in national security and dedicated emergency planning.
